Utrecht International Center

The goal of the Utrecht International Center is to put the Utrecht region on the map as an attractive destination to come to and to stay and work. We believe that building a new life abroad should be pleasant. Those who take this big step should not have to decide to leave again because of insurmountable obstacles. By providing international newcomers with the right support, they contribute to attracting and retaining talent.

At their centrally located office in Utrecht:

• They offer excellent customer service at our counters. Internationals arrange their residence permit at their IND counter and handle their first registration in the BRP at their Civil Affairs counter.
• They help international residents with up-to-date and accurate information about living in the Netherlands and specifically the Utrecht region at our information desk, on their website and during events. Together with their partners, they provide them with English-language information on topics such as housing, healthcare, education, language, culture and more.
• They provide access to the local international community. They build a social network during our networking events.

They work together with public organizations, the business community and knowledge organizations. Their partners offer their services to internationals, or employ international staff. Both want to provide international talent with the right support.
