You can contact us for repairs to electrical appliances and minor repairs to clothing, furniture and bicycles.
How does it work?
An enthusiastic group of repairers and organizers help about 40-50 visitors every month with their broken household goods, such as electrical appliances, clothing, clocks, furniture and bicycles (not laptops, tablets and smartpho.Usually about three quarters of the items and equipment are patched up again. We ask you for a voluntary contribution (debit card not possible) towards the costs. It is important to know: the Repair Café is not intended as a free repair option. The bicycle repair shop and the Golden Scissors also have to earn their living! The idea is that you also learn something from it yourself. It is easier to help yourself with bicycles, chairs and clothing than with microwaves and CD players.
Then you watch the repairman's work. They usually enjoy explaining how a device works and what is wrong.

We have a permanent home in the Op Eigen Wieken Community Center in the Merenwijk. We hope to see you there! There is ample (free!) parking space around the community center. Buses 3 and 4 stop nearby (get off at Lidl). And just this...
