VoorschotenLoop 2025

Participants can again choose the GeZZinsloop (1.25 kilometers), 5 kilometers, 10 kilometers and 10 English Miles. 

Runners can register online until Saturday, March 21, 2025 via www.voorschotenloop.nl or up to half an hour before the start in the canteen of Voorschoten'97. The costs are 10 euros for the 5 kilometers, 12 euros for the 10 kilometers and 14 euros for the 10 English Mile. The GeZZinsloop (2 start times) is free so that all youth get the chance to participate. As an association, we are happy to help get more young people moving.

A group of beginners and advanced players from Voorschoten'97 is training for this competition. The beginners joined the running course on December 1, 2024. They will experience their 'moment of fame' on Sunday 23 March.

GeZZinsloop - free for the youth
The GeZZinsloop is traditionally the kick-off of the fun event. The children from 6 to 9 years old are the first to be seen at 10.15 am with the starting shot of Zorg en Zekerheid Circuit, followed by the youth from 10 to 12 years old at 10.35 am. Participation is free and pre-registration is not necessary. Children can pick up their bib number on Saturday 23 March between 9.00 am and 11.00 am or on Sunday 24 March between 9.30 am and 10.00 am in the canteen of Voorschoten'97. Dads, moms, grandpas and grandmas can also join for free. At the finish, a nice medal and a delicious portion of popcorn await. On the tribute square, Blaaskapel Redelijk Onverantwoord provides a nice welcome.

The 10 kilometers and 10 English Miles start at 11.00 am. The participants of the 5 kilometers (start 11.15 am) are the last to leave. In addition, as a finisher you get flower seeds as a gift. There will be a selfie wall, where you can take a photo yourself to share on your social media.

Champion of Voorschoten
As in previous years, the Voorschoten participants will compete for the title of 'Champion of Voorschoten'. The fastest man and woman in the village at each distance will be put in the spotlight afterwards. In addition, there are three prizes for the first finishers for each distance, for both men and women.
