There is a charge for companies and internationals for BSN appointments booked with Leiden International Centre

Service Fees

The registration with the municipality in the Personal Records Database (BRP) will continue to be free of charge. Please note that the services of Leiden International Centre which are in addition to the registration in the BRP will incur a service fee.

 *Partners and children can only make use of the discount when they register at the same time as the first family member.  

In the process of making the appointment, payment options iDeal, PayPal or Credit card are offered. Companies that hire or guide multiple people per year, and meet our criteria, can contact Jenny@leideninternationalcentre.nl to receive quarterly invoices.  

Exemptions

  • Employees of LUMC are exempted from paying fees if their employer makes the appointment.  

  • Employees of Leiden University are exempted from paying fees if their employer makes the appointment.  

Please bring proof if this applies to you.  

We do not register students.

Opening Hours

During your appointment, you can ask questions on healthcare, housing, finding work, schooling, learning Dutch and more.

Our current opening hours for BSN registration appointments and questions for the helpdesk team are:

The Leiden International Centre is closed on official holidays including:

  • Easter - Monday 21st April 2025
  • Liberation day - Monday 5th May 2025
  • Whitmonday - Monday 9th June 2025
  • Christmas - 24th and 25th December
