Rent Benefits
Do you live in a rented house in the Netherlands? If so, you may be entitled to the rent benefit.
If you are living, or plan to live, in rental accommodation in the Netherlands, then it's important to know that you may be eligible for rent benefit. Applying for rent benefit (huurtoeslag) means that you receive a certain amount of money each month that you use to contribute to your rental costs. There are a number of conditions that you are required to meet in order to be deemed eligible for rent benefit, however, including your age, the type of rental accommodation you live in, your nationality, and your income.
