The municipality of Leiden and TechnoLab are currently gauging interest for an international edition of the Expedition Teacher specifically for internationals who work or are interested in working in education.
The expedition is a two-day workshop to familiarise with the Dutch education system. Internationals who are interested in working in education will be given the chance to learn about how Dutch classrooms work and cultural differences. Attendees will learn how to set up a lesson plan of their own, get the chance to speak to students, and finally get the chance to try teaching in front of a real class of students. Prices for the workshop are not yet set in stone but will likely be between €100 and €250.
