Thursday 8 May
International social security + private insurance

In international employment, social security plays an important, often underestimated role.
Where is the employee socially insured? Is it possible to continue social security in the country of origin? What formalities need to be completed? What can you do if social security coverage is lower than desired or missing altogether? What happens if the employee needs medical care during employment abroad? In short, are your employees still correctly socially insured when employed abroad? During this session, Jaap Spierenburg (LIMES) and Michel Teunisse (AON) will explain, using practical examples, what you can or should do in which situation.
